OVERLOOKING THE ESTUARY
In full view overlooking the Rande Strait, from any of the rooms in
Rectoral de Cobres one can easily imagine the ancient galleons that
according to local legend still guard their treasures at the bottom of the
sea, within reach of the most daring. Having said all this, besides art
and history, the parish of Cobres includes a sea port, nature routes and
adventures at sea to satisfy everyone’s taste.
THE HOUSE BY THE SEA
Rectoral de Cobres, an old rectory which dates from 1729 was built in the
parish of San Adrian de Cobres on a hill with a magnificent view of the
Vigo Estuary. It has been recently restored into a charming monumental
hotel, which besides having excellent sea views on practically all sides,
boasts a spectacular 150 m2 granary adapted for conferences and
celebrations.
